Green Expo - Environmental Trade Mission to Mexico

Dates: September 27 - 29, 2011

 

The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) is pleased to announce a trade mission to Mexico, to be held on the margins of the Green Expo 2011 Trade Show and Congress in Mexico City.

 

Recruitment is starting for this clean tech event.  There will be two booths for Atlantic Canada at the trade show, a networking event and a technical seminar, and matchmaking services to participants.  There will be an optional side mission to the State of Oaxaca (where most of the wind energy developments are in Mexico) prior to the Green Expo.  Please see the attached DFAIT project description for more details and to register.  There is a $500 participation fee.

Women in Oil and Gas, July 20, 2011, Marystown

NLOWE, the Eastern Suppliers Development Alliance (ESDA), Schooner Development Corporation and the Grand Bank Development Corporation (GBDC) will host an information session specifically designed to help women business owners learn more about and identify business opportunities in the offshore oil and gas industry on Wednesday, July 20 from 7-9 p.m. in Marystown. This session will also look at what services or products you may have that can be offered to the oil and gas industry.

 

This session will be held at the Ville Marie Hotel. It is free but registration is required.
