News At NEIA The following is a summary of the meetings, workshops and presentations NEIA staff have attended Israel is Open for Business and Looking to Partner with Canadian firms - NEIA attends meeting to Seek out Opportunities for Members On Monday, June 9th, NEIA attended a meeting regarding the business opportunities available in Israel. Bill Scott, President, represented NEIA. Israel is a powerhouse of economic activity. The country is very entrepreneurially oriented and all of the major technology firms have significant operations there. They have developed a wide range of innovative technologies in most environmental sectors and are interested in partnering with Canadian firms. They have targeted a number of industries in the province for growth and development:
