NL Housing NL Housing is owner of over 12,000 properties province wide. Approximately 1,200 sites have underground or above ground oil storage tanks and there is the potential for extensive contamination from oil spills or leaks. Also, NL Housing deals with other hazardous materials on a daily basis such as asbestos, mold, PCB's, lead, mercury, etc. NL Housing's mandate is to provide safe and healthy living conditions for its tenants / clients; therefore we deal with many environmental issues on a continual basis.
