Waste Management has been employing Newfoundlander's within the environmental sector for over 30 years. Along with providing front-load and roll-off waste services, the St. John's district specializes in the division of cardboard and paper materials.

Recycling and Waste Management services offered:
• Pick up of commercial and construction waste
• Pick up of corrugated cardboard recycling
• Pick up white paper and newsprint recycling

Types of waste currently collected from businesses:
• 2-40 yard containers for commercial and construction waste
• 2-8 yard containers for corrugated cardboard recycling
• 95 gallon bins for white paper and newsprint recycling

Types of bins and containers provided for recycling:
• 2-8 yard containers (metal containers with plastic tops)
• 95 gallon bins on casters

Hours of Operation:
8:00am - 5:00pm pm, Monday to Friday
8:00am -12:00 pm, Saturday

Waste Audit services offered:
• Identify current waste collection schedule and associated equipment
• Identify current recycling collection schedule and associated equipment
• Building tour; identify number size, location and contents of recycling bins
• Report findings; estimate quality and quantity of materials recycled. Estimate quantities of waste diverted from landfill
• Prepare written report to enhance the company’s current program
• A Waste Management representative will visit the location to ensure that the appropriate services are offered to set up a waste reduction program
