Adventus Group
The Adventus Group, with head offices in Mississauga Ontario, provides biotechnology-based remedial solutions, developed in Canada, for treatment of contaminated soil and groundwater. Adventus' well-established and patented DARAMEND® technology provides a uniquely effective approach to solid-phase soil and sediment treatment for PAHs, pesticides, phthalates, petroleum hydrocarbons and other recalcitrant compounds, both in-situ and ex-situ. Adventus' family of EHC® products (patented, injectable combination of slow-release carbon/nutrients plus micro -scale ZVI for chlorinated solvents and trace metals in groundwater) are the only products on the market that combine the chemical reducing power of ZVI with the cost-effectiveness of biotreatment. Our EHC-O groundwater product is a very cost-effective injectable source of slow-release oxygen and nutrients for aerobic biodegradation of petroleum hydrocarbons and BTEX compounds. Permeable reactive barrier technology for groundwater treatment is provided by Adventus’ EnviroMetal Technologies Inc. (ETI) office in Waterloo Ontario. Adventus provides a range of technology, products and support services to site owners, consultants and contractors to assist them with the design and installation of our passive remediation technologies. The Mississauga office includes a fully equipped laboratory for site-specific design studies and research and development activities. Adventus sponsors research at a variety of Canadian universities related to its technologies for remediation of soil and groundwater.
