NEIA’s export initiatives are designed to help members look more strategically at their export growth potential and develop the capabilities and capacity for long-term export success. The value proposition of the Export Development Program is that it effectively furthers the reach of member firms, many of whom employ fewer than 10 employees and do not have the resources to devote to intelligence gathering and opportunity finding. Thus, NEIA can act as an extension of members’ business development teams. By helping firms become more actively involved in exporting, NEIA is a strategic resource that strives to increase members’ willingness and capability to “go global”.
